Before we get this started, let me explain it There’s a horse in the hospital And he’s got a worm in his popsicle The surgeons are bewildered The nurses are confused The patients are delighted Doctors don’t know what to do It’s a medical mystery A rare time in history There’s a horse in the hospital And it’s time to sneak him out Sneaking out the hospital Sneak him out the back door Play decoy, kick em my rap lore Weekend at Bernie’s style My turn style Murder wild Hypnos with the glasses Licking toads on they asses I shot the fascist with a poison dart Blew it out a straw straight to his heart Played out like a work of art They tried to feed me to the sharks The marks, the Penelope’s Got me on camera and you could tell it’s me You see the predicament My future looking excrement It’s getting Old Testament And I ain’t Jay Z with the Jewish lawyers But I got crazy warriors It ain’t over jack I saw you by the entrance smoking crack Mutant muthafuckers need their potion back It’s only rap Oh, shit! There’s a horse in the hospital Alien wizards from the 8th dimension You can’t touch me or my henchmen Big belly, still hop over fences I’m coming out the gate swinging From jump street Slice your face like lunch meat Punks can’t compete, they get beat down There’s a 3 pound bullet in the sky bud What’s the first rule of fight club? Don’t forget it Swimming through the crowd towards the exit I’m Robert Paulson I’m a space monkey riding a rocket I ain’t happy to see ya, that’s a gun in my pocket Picture of me and my wife in locket, I kiss it before war Cop the 44 Contemplate my direct fate coming of late Oh shit! There’s a horse in the hospital!

Here comes the dark Wearing a goalie mask and a backpack past Hickey on his neck run a 40 yard dash High school hero, gas tank on E I ain’t afraid of no ghost, you can call on me The super duper sex panther all that Lex Luther with the bald cap Fall back with the feedback son we don’t need that Home of the cheesesteaks and greenbacks Get it off the meat rack I don’t dance, I just lean back Do the rock away Shoot a cop today Spread love it’s the Brooklyn way Don’t look away Don’t change the channel Come to the Burger King across from Sunoco for the rap battle It was all so simple then Talking bout the good ole days Lost in the maze and the rat race When Batman’s back breaks My heart aches Here comes the dark Out for revenge like a raven in flight The moonlit winters left death in its sights The hospital song rang the gong through the night All bark and even more bite Let me set the scene You rode floats and limousines I stayed home within in a dream The fire walked with me, hand in hand Bogus poetry from a bogus man Neighbor Dan and sailer Sam Searched far and wide But they weren’t prepared for what they found inside Little Johnny frozen in the lake Pizza in the EZ bake Nightmares and flashbacks See me in the goalie mask no longer holding onto the past It’s the face we hide Suicide couldn’t swallow my pride I’m just along for the ride Life is like a box, a cubicle The feelings weren’t mutual

There’s a horse in the hospital There’s a worm in his popsicle Doctors tried to operate To remove the hate from his heart That’s when my days got dark It was 2016 Pockets on empty I could feel it rumbling in my tummy Time to wake up and get some money Even though the world’s ugly I got a girl to love me And I love her too, maybe even more Together we could never be bored One day You’ll learn there’s more than one way It was November, the leaves were gone So enraged I wrote a song Thought about it all night long Evil had won What a web we spun Oh, if I only had a gun Like Travis Bickle The Grimm Reaper with a sickle Coleslaw and pink pickles The flu game with double nickels Follow the ripples Trickle down economy never trickles to us Down in New York riding the bus They cried over the horse in the hospital They tried to get the worm out of his popsicle It didn’t work Four more years of this jerk? There’s a horse in the hospital There’s a worm in his popsicle It’s like a rock opera Sent to shock ya Boogie down Bronx ya I hoped somebody would’ve shot ya Locked ya in a cage Ain’t that the new craze But life keeps moving Like a high school reunion There’s a turd in the punch bowl And I ain’t a Huxtable Raised on Uncrustables I’m unemployed Finding things hard to enjoy They’re drunk on fear Homegirl sunk in her tears From the big Apple to the city of angles Our love was strangled Hurt and mangled When the leaves turn red and gold, to nimrods release day Robbed Peter to pay Paul for Pete’s sake In a grief state The cheapskates on by I had to make the song cry Long kiss goodnight Don’t let the bed bugs bite I’ll be dancing on the White House lawn as it burns The world turns No one mourns the martyr, the fire starter The skies got darker But they turned a blind eye Cut it off and let the mind die

Who’s this?

Police brutality Realists disconnected from reality Tear gas in our eyes When they gonna realize Poets write songs to stay sane From both sides of the brain When the rain comes he could feel it in his bones They got a love jones with hate Fear mongering muthafuckers time to put em in their place What you be calling the po po? The jakes, the one time 5-0 trying to take my sunshine Punch in on the clocks They got quotas, they got traffic stops On the count of 3, say fuck the cops Rubber bullets ain’t so soft Revolution, we could pull it off Riot gear vs the flower punks He’s at trump towers having lunch Watching tv put the blame on us Mind washing disease Who’s gonna police the police? They’re like a crew Do whatever they wanna do Control the news and monitor our speech We got cardboard, they got military grade weaponry Why’s your police department got a tank? Why are you bootlickers saying thanks? Crack smoking donkey from outer space Elephant man got a brand new face Brass knuckles right say love, left say hate Love the city but I hate the taste

See from another point of view The God head anointed you Shades of blue, various hues Get a clue, buy a vowel Who’s in denial now? Smile down the barrel You give a bad name to Christmas carols I’m flying on an arrow I’m coming out the mud The all seeing sparrow ate too many bugs Now it’s tummy aches Now they’re saying my money’s fake And I’m not welcomed in this store no more Smorgasbord God doesn’t want me for a sunbeam? Good Why would she? I’m a gluttonous pig stuffed on shame Catholic guilt and teenage pain The rain outside my window Covered the sky with black rainbows The same clothes as yesterday Hung like jewels Kiss the killing moon I’m through being cool Just a schmuck like anyone of us Walk a mile in my shoes you might trip You might step in dog shit Glass eyes Don’t even try Don’t even know why Some of us can fly Some of us just won’t die See from another point of view Walk a mile in my shoes You might trip You might step in dog shit Wash em off with a hose From concrete grew a rose Follow your nose I wrote poetry in Portuguese by a dim lit candle The truth, you can’t handle Like Yoda Life ain’t all about getting over Sometimes you gotta get through It ain’t some dinosaur bone sent to test you The rest knew who did that Push your lid back Strive, live live, fuck 5, I want a 108 mics A huffy race bike Twin Peaks season 4 And so much more Tales of the crypt plus tales of the pimps and whores Gangsta rap boogie Not long is how long it took me You can’t shake me down, I’m not a rookie If the projects due I’m playing hooky Glass eyes Don’t even try Don’t even know why Some of us can fly Some of us just won’t die

Here we are together on your hi-fi A little piece of plastic with a hole Earth people always think I’m Sci Fi That’s because they ain’t got no soul We don’t give a flying rats monkey Down in Baltimore we rocked the brass flunky Push the envelope like fed ex It cost extra for the white label test press Can’t touch me like MC Hammer FBI at my door with the radar jammers They tried to tap me up Under covers wanna dap me up Slap me and rough me up They wanna cuff me up What happened to peace? What happened to freedom of speech? They killed cornbread Put a crown of thorns on his head My uzi weighs a ton, I keep it under my bed The wonder bread Smuckers jam and peanut butter Make a fist with my hand and tell em cmon like Ed Lover Time travel suffocating little baby hands Dismantling billionaire boy bands You care more about brands than people I don’t give a damn about the lesser of two evils
10.
I always liked cheesesteak better than schnitzel I don’t wanna go pop like a pimple I’m the walking dead like Scott Gimple Chocolate Ripple I’m in the middle of the rocky road Keep it all inside until I’m about to explode Like dynamite Living in retrospect, the king of hindsight I gotta get right Dollar taco nights I don’t wanna be a macho man I don’t wanna play guitar in a band I wanna build you sand castles Time warps and black holes Long hugs and sad souls Feel the tension This isn’t a real dimension Waiting on my idle hands that I had Where did I go wrong like a disappointed dad It’s a butterfly effect That makes me check my head Drown me in the water bed You taught me it all without a poison apple Quesadillas and peach Snapples Wawa chocolate milk and trips of guilt I cried when it spilt Like marbles down the street Into the sewer with the freaks I’m a negative creep Like Nirvana You make me think of andromeda Save a star for me From New Jersey to Berlin Germany I’m not in her league, I don’t play the game Things change, they can’t stay the same That’s progress But I digress I’m too smart to be happy in this world I’ll hang myself cos I’m hung up on this girl I told her I loved her and she laughed And now I’m living in the past That’s a big matzah ball Just waiting to fall Darling don’t you go and cut your hair I’ll buy you funnel cake and lemonade at the fair Maybe even win you a teddy bear You told me to go but I was already there

Anyway the wind blows It doesn’t matter to me Suicidal tendencies Make my brain warm like Hennessy A smoking gun I never was the chosen one Lotus flowers, my soul’s sour I gave you power Kill myself within the hour A change of heart couldn’t come sooner If you heard I fell off it’s only just a rumor If I had a tumor I’d name after you The reason I feel so blue Bluer than velvet was the night You moved on, I saw the light Burning bright like a tiger in flight Flame so white I scratched till it bled My eyes saw red My head spun around Like a vegetable I’m impregnable Anyway the wind blows It doesn’t matter to me The pitter patter of little feet The miracle and disaster meet For the first time Blurred lines Anyway the wind blows It doesn’t matter to me Cos I’m through with the fussing and the fighting over you You always find away to argue the truth It’s a loophole It’s fools gold My minds made up I can’t back down Spin my head around like an exorcism Thanks for your belligerent wisdom I’m in a prism You live off pessimism And trust the system Ducking prisons Corporations get bailed The whole things tastes stale They failed us like a baby in a basket down the river Well that baby’s getting bigger And strong too I think you messed with the wrong crew The resistance is coming Anyway you spin it, your still mind numbing We drop lobotomy beats more faster than ya blink I’m going after em with the kitchen sink IRS could suck my books Bring back the hook
12.

There’s a horse in the hospital There’s a worm in his popsicle He seems to be the obstacle Mission impossible But is there more going down? Look around, tear drops keep falling on my window It’s more than a symbol or a catchy jingle No radio friendly singles were harmed in the making of this riddle You can leave the castle now Mr. Asshole You left a big hassle Judging the world unfairly and unjust Maybe today you’re heart will combust Oh, what a joy For the sane little girls and boys You’re no role model that’s for sure Not even a bottle washed up on shore You’re no mystery It’s not the first time in history Most certainly won’t be the last time You try to break this heart of mine Got a light? Let it shine The burger kings are all on fire Riding in on a horse named desire

about

“There’s a Horse in the Hospital” the latest and greatest rap concept album from the bonafide rap weirdo, Darko the Super. Inspired by Dr. Octagon, Darko crafted an anti establishment, anti mind wash religion, necessary for the times. Written, produced, mixed, and mastered by the Jackie Moon of U Don’t Deserve This Beautiful Art. After defeating the devil, it’s time to finish off these pork eating demon people. Don’t believe me? Then listen to this:

“You are the craziest person. How you got a song called Greasy September? I want to brag to people that I know someone who has a song called Greasy September”. - Homeboy Sandman

“Man, this jawn is a masterpiece. I've been rocking it all night. I feel like this album is a big step forward into the future of Darko, both on the beats and the rhymes.” - Height Keech

“Once I went to see a poet at a bookstore. Her name was Jacqueline Waters. In a poem she said “horse will you be my mother? No, I can’t be your mother, I’m a horse”. When Evan sent me this album, that was the first thing I thought. Because horse was in the title. Horse is also a basketball variant, and a slang term for heroin in the 80’s. I was born in the 80’s. Why would a horse be in a non horse hospital? Darko doesn’t answer completely but the beats are psychedelic, echo hard and the raps are tight, sometimes distorted and on point. - Scott Thorough

“I listened to horse in the hospital today. I think you’ve outdone yourself in every way. It’s incredibly imaginative, packed with unique moments of sound boundary pushing and memorable lines.” - ialive

Available on lab coat white vinyl and those frisbee shaped things called CD's. In theaters everywhere November 6th, on U Don’t Deserve This Beautiful Art.
