This track is a complete homage to Kanye West. I was playing this earlier demo I recorded for thebuddha, talking about Kanye’s ability to bear the cross for all of us. He’ll have a small flaw and treat it with the weight the rest of us refuse to. We wanted the whole track to reference Kanye, from my lyrics, to the violins and drum kits buddha chose. I chopped it up, buddha hit the drums, I cried spitting the verse. We knew we had something.
